Passion

This week, we pause at the most painful moment of the story. The Gospel of Mark tells us, “They put a purple robe on him, then twisted together a crown of thorns and set it on him.” This is the cost of love. Jesus is mocked, humiliated, and wounded, yet he does not turn away. He remains faithful all the way to the cross.

Passion invites us to sit with the suffering of Jesus and to remember that his pain was not meaningless. It was love poured out. It was mercy made visible. As we reflect on the death of Jesus, we are reminded that God meets us in suffering and transforms it into redemption.

Come and join us as we remember the passion of Christ, honor his sacrifice, and prepare our hearts for the hope that is coming.
