Gather
We gather together in worship and community. We believe life and faith are better when we experience them together.
Who We Are
A Church Centered on Jesus
Welcome to First Baptist Church of Girard. We want to be known first by the kind of people we are and the kinds of lives we live as followers of Jesus. Jesus came to bring full and abundant life, and we believe that kind of life is exactly what our world needs today.
We invite all people into that life together in Jesus Christ. When we say all, we truly mean all. No matter your background, your story, or where you are on your faith journey, you are welcome here.
Our Mission
Our mission is to connect people to Jesus Christ for the transformation of all people.
Our Core Values
Grow
We grow in our relationship with Jesus Christ and with one another. We believe everyone should have opportunities to take their next step in faith.
Give
We give our time, talents, and treasures to help transform lives through Jesus Christ. We believe God has given each of us something we can use to make a difference.
Go
We go beyond the walls of the church to serve our local community and demonstrate the love of Jesus Christ. We believe the church should be known by how well we love and serve our neighbors.
Invite
We intentionally invite and welcome new people into the life and community of the church. We want everyone to have the opportunity to experience the love of Jesus Christ and know they belong.
