Welcome to First Baptist Church of Girard. We want to be known first by the kind of people we are and the kinds of lives we live as followers of Jesus. Jesus came to bring full and abundant life, and we believe that kind of life is exactly what our world needs today.

Our mission is to connect people to Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.

As Baptists, we share a historic Christian faith centered on the Lordship of Jesus Christ, the authority of the Bible, and the importance of believers’ baptism.

We observe two primary ordinances: believers’ baptism and the Communion We value a personal relationship with God and encourage every believer to develop and share their God given gifts in ministry.
